Bringing Japanese Aesthetics into the Future.
I'm an independent designer based in Kyoto, Japan. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese culture and aesthetics, I create timeless visual identities that reflect the stories, values and individuality behind each brand.

Kumamoto, Kyoto, Tokyo and the United Kingdom.
The places I've lived and the cultures I've experienced have shaped the way I see and approach design.
The name K.Design takes its inspiration from the letter K, shared by Kumamoto, Kyoto, Tokyo and the UK — places that have each played a part in my journey.
Growing up in different environments has given me a broader perspective, allowing me to appreciate diverse cultures, values and ways of thinking.
These experiences continue to influence my creative approach. Now based in Kyoto, I work with brands in Japan and around the world, bringing together different perspectives through design.
Living in different places and experiencing other cultures gave me a new appreciation for the beauty and values of Japanese traditions — qualities I had once taken for granted.
The thoughtful use of negative space, a sense of harmony, understated elegance and the craftsmanship found in the smallest details.
To me, the beauty of Japanese design lies in its ability to create a lasting impression without unnecessary decoration.
However, I don't believe tradition should simply be preserved unchanged or reproduced for its own sake.
I believe its true value comes from understanding the meaning behind it and reinterpreting it in ways that resonate with contemporary audiences.
Through my work, I bring together traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern sensibilities to create designs that connect cultures and transcend borders.

04. Mission— 使命
I believe that the beauty of Japanese design lies not only in its appearance, but also in the meaning, craftsmanship and values behind it.
My mission is to carry these qualities forward, reinterpreting traditional Japanese aesthetics through a contemporary perspective.
By understanding each brand's story and individuality, I aim to create thoughtful, timeless designs that resonate with people across cultures and generations.
Through my work, I hope to connect the richness of Japanese tradition with new ideas, creating visual identities that remain relevant and meaningful for years to come.
